Local Rexburg Spotlight: Adam's Mongolian Grill

I introduced to Adam's Mongolian Grill by a friend of mine years ago and have been a frequent customer ever since. Adam's is one Rexburg Idaho's premier, healthy food options.

The heart of Adam’s Mongolian Grill lies in its interactive dining concept. Diners are invited to create their own bowls from a variety of fresh ingredients, including crisp vegetables, flavorful proteins, and a selection of noodles. The experience is made even more exciting with a wide range of sauces to choose from, letting you craft a dish tailored to your taste buds. When ordering, you choose between the size of bowl bowl (small, medium, and large) and the type of bowl that you would like. The three options are Vegetables, Meat & Vegetables, and Seafood & Vegetables with pricing increasing in that order. I prefer the meat and vegetables bowl. In addition to these options, they also have other entrees you can choose from like the Katsu Chicken, my wife's personal favorite. Once you get your bowl, you move down an assembly line scooping the items that you would like. All of the ingredients are perfectly FRESH. First up is veggies and the options are ENDLESS. My personal favorite combination is to keep it simple. I first add carrots, corn, peas, and sometimes broccoli. Next you add your protein choice of which I opt for beef but you can go with pork, chicken, or one of the multiple seafood options. Following protein, is the sauce station, where the options are just as numerous as the veggies. I prefer the original mongolian barbecue sauce. You will finish things off selecting your noodle type. I opt for the egg noodles. Once your bowl is ready, the expert grill chefs take over, cooking your creation to perfection right in front of you. This hands-on approach makes dining at Adam’s a fun and memorable experience. The flavor options are super diverse but as someone who sticks with a good thing, I can tell you that my preferred combination is delectable. With the cold weather of winter we are currently having, a hot plate of food from Adam's sure does warm me up.

One of the best things about the Mongolian Grill is the people. The owner's, Adam and June, are simply phenomenal people. If you frequent Adam's Mongolian Grill, I can promise you June and Adam will go from being kind owners of a restaurant to friends. They care about each person that comes into their establishment. One story I like to share is that upon hearing that my wife and I were planning on building a home in the coming year, June took the time to give us pointers on what she would look out for if she was building again as they have built multiple new homes. June didn't have to take the time away from her work to help us but she did. They always ask us how work and family are doing and you can tell that they genuinely are interested.

I would be remiss if I did not touch on the service. The service is always extremely fast, even on busy nights with everything being cooked fresh in front of you. Every employee that my wife and I have interacted with has always been so kind. Drinks are always kept filled without even having to ask. To go boxes are always offered for you to take your leftovers with you and with the size of the portions you receive, there is almost always leftovers.
